Pi-hole Stats In Your Mac’s Menu Bar

Here’s a fun project to supplement your Pi-hole: view your stats in a pull-down menu from OS X’s menu bar.

[UPDATE]: v3.0 uses numbers instead of strings, so you will need to modify this script to have it work with v3.0.

bpihole-menubar stats

  1. Download and Install BitBar
  2. Open BitBar
  3. Create a folder to store your scripts (the plugin folder)
  4. Click the Add to BitBar button on this siteadd-to-bitbarinstall
  5. Open the script and edit the IP address to be the IP of your Pi-holechange-pihole-ip
  6. You should now be able to view your Pi-hole’s stats from your menu bar
